Dining Etiquette for Children

Dining course for children, teaching the technical and social points of dining.  The course will be specially tailored to young children.

As our little ones grow, there are few skills more frequently useful than the ability to join a table with confidence, kindness, and natural ease.  With that in mind, I am opening for enrolment our upcoming Mini Manners Dining Etiquette for Children, an elegant and joyful introduction to gracious table behaviour.
These gatherings are designed to help children:
• understand place settings and table etiquette;
• bread, drinks and napkin etiquette;
• practise polite conversation and listening;
• refusing and trying new foods;
• learn graceful posture and correct use of utensils;
• build confidence in dining settings at home, in public or as a guest.
The classes will take place in the lovely Windows restaurant of the Hotel d’Angleterre over a child-friendly two-course luncheon.  The atmosphere will be warm and encouraging.  Above all, the focus is on giving children a positive and inspiring introduction to etiquette and to help each child feel confident dining in any setting.

 

This popular class provides a beautiful, supportive and festive environment for children to learn correct dining etiquette.

 

The children will learn by doing as this course takes place over a two-course lunch.  Attendees will be prepared to shine in both private and public dining occasions.

  • Etiquette training;
  • Two-course luncheon;
  • Dining Etiquette for Children certificate.

Dining Etiquette for Children is suitable as a first dining etiquette course, or as a refresher for children who have previously taken this or another dining etiquette course.

Then there will be an opportunity to take photographs in front of the Christmas tree 🎄

Dress code: Attendees must dress appropriately for the venue and may dress ‘up’ if they desire.
